While reading up on current affairs for another university project, I managed to stumble across an article on BBC News that really captured my attention. It's about a photographer named Brian David Stevens who has undertaken a simple project of capturing portrait snaps of surviving war soldiers. I found myself captured by the photographs, and the anonymity of the war veterans resulted in me concentrating harder and trying to create a background story for the nameless face in front of me.
